Lake Lake Sebu's Tilapia Kingdom #29

When you decided to visit Lake Sebu, South Cotabato, and you are looking for endless adventure you should visit this place. Lake Sebu or Lake Lake is the name of the municipality, which entices everybody of the endless bountiful tilapia from the seven lakes and the zipline. Since it was raining we opted to have the boating. Tilapia is the major source of livelihood of the T’boli’s which they grow in the lake. Other sources of livelihood are brassware, wood carving and cloth weaving, more popularly known as “T’nalak".

Punta Isla is overlooking Lake Sebu wherein you can taste a variety of  tilapia  delicacies from kinilaw, sinugbang tilapia,  spicy fillet, tilapora and a lot more.

Also, when  taking meals, we could either eat  in the floating restaurant or in the hilltop.  A floating restaurant is a nice option during lunch, plus  there are young T’bolis performing their different danced and musical instruments.  The restaurant in the hilltop is a nice spot to see the panoramic of the Lake Sebu and a lot of tilapia breeding nets.  Tourists really love the place because of its peaceful ambience and relaxation effect.

This lake resort has  rooms and cottages good for couples, families and groups. The basic amenities  are available in every room. There is also a souvenir shop  with native handicraft products display for a very reasonable price.   Although the facilities are not that world-class, but in terms of hospitality,  you will never get wrong  when picking this resort. Where life indeed blends with nature at its best. No wonder why Ms. Melivo loves tilapias.
